Automobile Transport & Babysitter Hazard Vendor Report, Two Way Mirrors & Australian Gun Confiscation
Good evening Folks. Hope all are well and enjoying the weekend. I wanted to relate an experience with a unique company called Metro Crime Prevention of Florida. Joe Pine, the company owner, visited my home last Tuesday evening for a demonstration of their product. This is a unique alarm system, roughly the size of a loaf of bread, that can be installed in approximately five minutes, is not hard wired, is completely portable, does not require monitoring fees, has available numerous bells & whistles that provide flexibility and is reasonably priced. How to Detect a Two Way Mirror: There have been many reports of ladies being observed through two-way mirrors in changing and restrooms. Some perverts get a real thrill out of so observing without the victim's knowledge. There is a simple test if you are suspicious: Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then the mirror is a GENUINE MIRROR. However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, it is than a TWO-WAY MIRROR. Let's not give these voyeuristic scumbags a cheap thrill! Australian Gun Control Laws: This is the one-year anniversary of
Australia's confiscation of 640,381 personal firearms at a cost of $500,000,000. Well, the obvious has occurred:
Homicides are up 3.2%.
Assaults are up 8.6%.
Armed Robberies are up a whopping 44%! This reverses a 25 year trend in reduction of Armed robberies!
In the state of Victoria, homicides with firearms are up 300%!
There has been a "dramatic increase" in break-ins and assaults of the elderly.
Of course, the Australian politicians who made the confiscation possible are absolutely confused at the results since the "ridding of society of guns." I wonder how many bad guys gave up their guns? Of course, there have been other political leaders who disarmed their citizens: Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin and Kim IL Sung immediately come to mind. We know what happened there don't we?
